Good Seats publishes guides to venues, teams, events, performers, shows, festivals and cities so ticket buyers know what they are buying before they buy it. These are the standards every page is held to.
Accuracy first
- Primary sources. Facts come from the venue, team, league, promoter, production or government body wherever possible, then from established reference works. See content sourcing.
- Nothing invented. If a fact cannot be verified, it is left out. A page that says less is better than a page that guesses.
- Disagreements disclosed. Where reputable sources give different figures, such as two capacities for one stadium, the page reports both.
- Dates on time-sensitive facts. Bag policies, parking, stadium names, show runs and tour dates change. Those statements carry a date, and readers are told to confirm them before an event.
No prices in the text
Ticket prices on the resale market change by the hour, so the guides never state a ticket price. They explain what drives price instead: which sections are in demand, which dates sell first and how timing affects choice.
Independence
Good Seats is not affiliated with any team, league, venue, promoter or performer, and no organization pays for coverage or reviews a page before it is published. Names appear because they are the subject of the guide. The only service claims on the site are the ones that apply to every order: a 100% guarantee, guaranteed entry, free shipping and no digital transfer fees.
Useful judgment
A seating guide is only useful if it is willing to say a seat is a poor choice and explain why. Guides give specific judgment about sightlines, sun and shade, overhangs and value, and explain the reasoning so readers can apply it to their own priorities.
Plain language
Guides are written in plain US English, with technical terms defined the first time they appear. The glossary collects those definitions in one place.
Updates and corrections
Each page shows the date its content last changed. That date changes only when the substance changes. Errors are corrected as described on the corrections page.
