The short version: three tiers, two number loops

For a Chiefs game, the most sought-after seats at Arrowhead Stadium are field-level sections 115 to 123 behind the Chiefs bench, and the strongest value is usually the upper-level Chiefs sideline, sections 319 to 329. Those ranges come from the stadium's own field-level and upper-level maps, which are the basis for every section number on this page.

Arrowhead is a single oval bowl with three tiers:

  • Field level (100s): sections 101 to 136, one continuous ring around the field.
  • CommunityAmerica Club Level (200s): a shallow middle tier with temperature-controlled concourses, bars and lounges.
  • Upper level (300s): sections 301 to 346, the largest and steepest tier.

Both the 100 and 300 loops start at the visitors' 50-yard line, so section 101 and section 301 sit almost directly above each other, and the numbers climb clockwise around the map from there. Once you know where 101 is, every other section is easy to place.

Sidelines and end zones by section number

Field level

  • Visitors sideline: 133 to 136 and 101 to 105, with 136, 101 and 102 straddling midfield. This side faces the Founder's Plaza Gate.
  • Chiefs sideline: 115 to 123, with 118, 119 and 120 at midfield. This side backs onto the Tower Gate and the Hall of Honor.
  • End zones: 108 to 112, centered on 110, at the Gate C end, and 126 to 130, centered on 128, at the Gate G end.
  • Corners: 106 and 107, 113 and 114, 124 and 125, and 131 and 132.

Upper level

  • Visitors sideline: 342 to 346 and 301 to 306, with 346, 301 and 302 at midfield.
  • Chiefs sideline: 319 to 329, with 323, 324 and 325 at midfield.
  • End zones: 310 to 315 at the Gate C end and 333 to 338 at the Gate G end. The Drum Deck sits at the top of sections 335 and 336.

A note on compass points: the team describes its Kingdom Club, on the Chiefs side, as being on the south side, while at least one sun-and-shade guide places the Chiefs bench on the west. Because the published guides disagree on orientation, check a current sun guide or ask the seller before buying on the basis of shade.

Field level: choosing a row, not just a section

The field-level bowl rises gently, which shapes every choice in it. Low rows feel close but flat, and on the sidelines they sit directly behind players, coaches and staff who stand for most of the game.

  • Behind the Chiefs bench (117 to 121): the home sideline up close, with the trade-off that the bench blocks part of the near side of the field in the first rows. Middle and back rows clear that wall.
  • Visitors side (136, 101, 102): often a little easier to buy than the Chiefs side, and it gives a head-on look at the Chiefs sideline across the field.
  • Corners: 106, 107, 113, 114, 124, 125, 131 and 132 are a sensible compromise for fans who want field level without sideline prices.
  • End zones (108 to 112 and 126 to 130): the goalposts, netting and camera positions sit in front of the low rows, and depth at the far end of the field is hard to judge.

Many field-level sections are entered from a walkway at the top, so a low row number usually means a long walk down steep steps. Aisle seats are worth asking for if you expect to make concession trips.

Club level and premium spaces

The 200 level is the CommunityAmerica Club Level, a shallow ring of club seats between the field and the upper deck. Its concourses are temperature-controlled, and per the team they open two and a half hours before kickoff and stay open about an hour after the game, which matters on a cold December night.

The team publishes a long list of premium spaces, and several are tied to specific parts of the seating map:

  • Chairman's Club: on the club level along the Chiefs sideline.
  • Champions Club: on the club level above section 203.
  • IMA Foolish Lounge: on the club level at the east end zone.
  • Kingdom Club: on the lower level, Chiefs side, with a private entrance.
  • FanDuel Terrace: on the lower level above section 123.
  • Ford Founder's Club: behind the visitors side at field level, near the Founder's Plaza Gate.

Club seats along the Chiefs sideline, such as section 219, sit at the top of the market for every regular-season game. For the angle without the club price, the low rows of the upper-level sideline are the closest substitute.

Upper level: where the steep pitch pays off

Arrowhead's upper deck is unusually steep, and that is good news for the view. The pitch stacks rows closer to the field than in most NFL upper decks, so the upper sideline feels more like a high club seat than a distant perch.

  • Chiefs sideline, 321 to 327: the most popular upper-level seats, with the whole field laid out in front of you and the Chiefs bench below.
  • Visitors sideline, 344 to 346 and 301 to 304: the same view from the other side, often a little easier to find on busy weekends.
  • Upper corners (307 to 309, 316 to 318, 330 to 332, 339 to 341): a reasonable compromise between price and angle.
  • Upper end zones (310 to 315 and 333 to 338): the most distant seats in the building, with no roof or canopy and full exposure to wind.

Steepness has a cost. Stairs in the upper tier are sharp, and fans who dislike heights or need to limit stair climbing should favor low rows and aisle seats, or the accessible options below.

Concerts, soccer and other configurations

Football is Arrowhead's main layout, but the stadium also books summer stadium concerts, and it was a 2026 FIFA World Cup venue under the tournament name Kansas City Stadium.

End-stage concerts

For a typical stadium show, the stage goes at one end of the field and the floor becomes general admission or temporary reserved seating. The best reserved seats are usually field-level corners and low sideline sections angled toward the stage. Sections at the stage end are closed or sold as limited view, and the upper end zone opposite the stage is the longest look in the building. Use the event-specific map on your listing to confirm which end the stage occupies.

Soccer

A soccer pitch fills the same rectangle as a football field, so the sideline logic carries over: midfield sections on either side are the premium, and end-zone seats bring you close to goal-mouth action at one end only. For the World Cup, end-zone seating was reduced to fit the international layout, so event maps may differ from the football chart.

ADA platforms and limited-mobility seating

Per the stadium's accessibility page, ADA platform seating is located on raised platforms on each level, with nearby TVs and enhanced sight lines, for guests who use mobility devices or cannot climb stairs. The stadium's maps mark these platforms at the top of the field-level bowl in all four corners, behind both end zones and along both sidelines, and across the top of the upper-level Chiefs sideline.

  • Limited-mobility seating: aisle seats in the last rows of select sections with retractable or removable armrests, for guests who can walk short distances.
  • Companion seats: available next to accessible seats through Chiefs Fan Experience, subject to availability.
  • Elevators: available throughout the stadium, with direct elevator access from the Tower Gate and Ticket Office gates.
  • Carts: courtesy carts run from three hours before kickoff, first come, first served.
