Reading the loanDepot park map in one minute

Every seating level at loanDepot park is numbered the same way. Per the Marlins' ballpark guide, the bowl starts with section 1 on the Promenade Level, 201 on the Legends Level and 302 on the Vista Level, each beginning at the right field foul pole and running clockwise around the park. Follow any level from right field toward home plate and the numbers rise; keep going down the third base line and they keep rising until the left field corner.

That one rule answers most seat questions. Low numbers sit along the first base line and in the right field corner, the middle of each range sits behind home plate, and the high numbers run down the third base line to left field. The team's seating map shows the Promenade Level running from section 1 to section 40, the Legends Level from 201 to 228 and the Vista Level from 302 to 327, and A View From My Seat's section directory lists the same ranges.

  • First base side: roughly sections 1–10, 201–211 and 302–310. The visitors' dugout sits in front of the field-level sections on this side.
  • Behind home plate: the middle Promenade sections, the FL premium rows in front of them, and the center Vista sections.
  • Third base side: roughly sections 19–27, 219–228 and the high-teens through mid-20s on the Vista Level. The Marlins' dugout sits on this side.
  • Outfield: sections 28 through 40 on the field level and the Home Run Porch, sections 134–141, above them.

Promenade Level: sections 1 to 40 and the FL rows

The Promenade Level is the main lower bowl and the level most fans mean when they say field level. The team sells it in tiers rather than by a single price, and the tier names on a listing map to specific bands of sections on the team's seating map:

  • FL premium rows: small premium sections at the very front of the bowl. The First Base Dugout Club is FL1–FL3 and the Third Base Dugout Club is FL9–FL11, with cushioned seats, a private entrance and in-seat service. The PNC Club rows wrap the plate between them.
  • Home Plate Box: the infield sections between the bases, around sections 9 through 20 on the team map.
  • Clubhouse Box: the first nine rows above the dugouts, per the team's description, which keeps you level with the players coming on and off the field.
  • Base Reserved: the sections just beyond first and third base.
  • Baseline Reserved: the sections that continue down the lines into the outfield corners.

The best value on this level is usually the Base Reserved band on either side, close enough to see a pitcher's grip on a replay and priced below the Home Plate Box. The weakest Promenade seats are the deep corner sections near each foul pole, where the seats point at center field and you turn your head for every pitch.

Protective netting

The team's 2026 map marks netting at the front of the field-level sections along both baselines, from about section 3 on the first base side around to about section 26 on the third base side, plus the FL rows. Netting is nearly invisible from the middle rows but noticeable from the first few rows. If an unobstructed view matters more than proximity, sit a dozen or more rows back, or choose the outfield, where there is no netting.

Dugout side: where the Marlins and visitors sit

The Marlins use the third base dugout. The team's 2026 seating map labels the Marlins' dugout in front of the field-level sections down the third base line, around sections 19 through 21, and the visitors' dugout in front of sections 8 through 10 on the first base side. Ballparks of Baseball also lists the home dugout on the third base side.

  • For Marlins fans: the Third Base Dugout Club (FL9–FL11) and the Clubhouse Box rows behind the home dugout put you closest to the home team.
  • For visiting fans: the First Base Dugout Club (FL1–FL3) and the first base Clubhouse Box rows sit over the visitors' dugout. Large road crowds, especially for the Mets and Braves, tend to cluster on this side.
  • Bullpens: the map shows the Marlins' bullpen along the left field line in front of sections 29 to 31, and the visitors' bullpen beyond the right-center fence next to the Bullpen Zone, below sections 38 to 40.

Legends Level: the 200s and the club seats

The Legends Level is a short mid-level ring of seats on each side of the infield, with suites filling the space behind home plate. Seats run from section 201 near the right field corner to 211 near home plate, then pick up again at 219 on the third base side and continue to 228. Sections 212 through 218 are not public seating; that arc holds suites on the team's map.

The sections closest to home plate on each side, about 207–211 and 219–222, are sold as Legends Platinum: fully cushioned seats with access to a private, climate-controlled Legends concourse. The rest of the level is sold as Legends. The Hall of Fame Club, an all-inclusive area, sits behind home plate on this level.

This level is the answer for fans who want a club experience without a field-level price. The height is ideal for reading a game, the rows are few, so the walk to your seat is short, and the view clears the netting entirely. The farther sections, in the low 200s and the high 220s, look across the field at a sharper angle but keep the same height.

Vista Level and the outfield seats

Vista Level, sections 302 to 327

The Vista Level is the upper deck, sold as Vista Box and usually the least expensive way into the building. It follows the same clockwise rule: 302 starts out by the right field corner, the middle of the range is behind home plate and 327 finishes down the left field line. Sections nearest home plate give a full, symmetrical view of the field and the glass wall beyond left field. A cross-aisle splits the deck, and seats below it are closer and easier to reach; seats above it are steeper but still see the whole field. The outermost sections at each end of the range are the farthest seats in the park.

Outfield areas

  • Home Run Porch (134–141): the second level of outfield seats from center toward right field. The team notes these seats have no armrests. The short right field line makes this the likeliest home run landing area in the park.
  • Bullpen Zone: group space in right field with views into the visitors' bullpen.
  • Sections 28–40: lower outfield seats in left and center field, sold under team names that change by season, including group and party areas on the 2026 map. Low rows in parts of the outfield sit below the top of the wall and can lose balls on the warning track.

Concerts, football and other layouts

LoanDepot park is built for baseball, and every other event borrows that bowl. For concerts, a floor goes over the field, and the stage usually goes in the outfield, facing home plate. That turns the seats behind home plate on every level into the head-on view, and it closes or limits the outfield seats behind the stage. Floor sections are flat, so a seat a few rows up in the lower bowl behind the plate often sees more than a floor seat far back.

The ballpark has also held college football, the Miami Beach Bowl from 2014 to 2016, and the NHL Winter Classic in January 2026. Those layouts put the field or rink across the baseball diamond and change which sections are closest, so read the event-specific map at purchase rather than assuming the baseball tiers apply.

Accessible seating and family amenities

Per the Marlins' ballpark guide, wheelchair-accessible and semi-ambulatory seats with operable armrests are located in various sections on all ballpark levels, and one companion may sit with each guest in the designated areas. The team map marks accessible positions throughout the Promenade, Legends and Vista levels and in the outfield.

The guide lists electrical outlets for medical equipment at these locations:

  • Promenade Level: sections 1, 9 through 20, 28, 30, 31, 35 and 39.
  • Legends Level: sections 205, 211, 220 and 223.
  • Vista Level: sections 309 through 311, 317, 319, 320 and 322.

Family restrooms sit near sections 2, 7, 22, 39 and 134 on the Promenade Level, 201, 209 and 221 on the Legends Level, and 302, 312 and 318 on the Vista Level. The ballpark also has a sensory room on the Legends Level and a nursing pod by section 21. The team does not publish an alcohol-free section. Confirm the current details in the Marlins' ballpark guide before you buy.
