The quick answer: center ice, then height

For a Predators game, the best seats at Bridgestone Arena are the lower-level sections at center ice, 105 and 106 on one side and 115 and 116 on the other, and the best value is the upper level directly above them, 309 and 310 or 325 and 326. Every section number here comes from the arena's own hockey and concert seating maps.

The building has three seating levels:

  • Lower level (100s): sections 101 to 120, a full ring around the ice.
  • Club level (200s): sections 201 to 224, a shallow ring that covers both sidelines and one end, with no club sections at the opposite end.
  • Upper level (300s): sections 301 to 333, a full ring that sits directly above the lower bowl at the end where the club level is missing.

The lower and upper rings both start at the center of the same end, 101 and 301, and climb counterclockwise as drawn on the arena's map. The club ring follows the same pattern from 201.

Section by section: sides, corners and ends

Lower level, 101 to 120

  • Sideline one: 104 to 107, with 105 and 106 at the red line.
  • Sideline two: 114 to 117, with 115 and 116 at the red line.
  • The concert-stage end: 109 to 112, centered between 110 and 111. The arena's maps put the end stage in front of these sections.
  • The opposite end: 119, 120, 101 and 102, centered between 120 and 101.
  • Corners: 103, 108, 113 and 118, each angled toward the ice between a side and an end.

Club level, 201 to 224

  • Sidelines: 207 to 212 above one side and 213 to 218 above the other, with 209 and 210 and 215 and 216 near center.
  • End and corners: 201 to 206 and 219 to 224 wrap the end opposite the stage, with 201 and 224 at its center.

Upper level, 301 to 333

  • Sidelines: 308 to 312 and 323 to 328, centered on 309 and 310 and on 325 and 326.
  • The stage end: 313 to 322, which hangs directly over the lower bowl because there is no club ring at that end.
  • The opposite end: 329 to 333 and 301 to 307, with 301 at center.

Best seats for Predators games, and where to be careful

Hockey rewards height more than proximity. The puck moves fast and plays develop across all three zones, so the most complete view comes from a seat high enough to look over the glass at the whole sheet.

  • Lower sideline, middle rows (104 to 107, 114 to 117): the premium choice, close enough to hear the play and high enough to see over the boards.
  • Front rows behind the glass: dramatic for hits and warmups, but the curved glass distorts the view and the far end of the ice is hard to follow.
  • Lower corners: good for watching the attack at your end, and usually priced below center ice.
  • Lower ends (109 to 112, 119 to 102): a great look at one net for two periods and a distant look the rest of the game.
  • Upper center (308 to 312, 323 to 328): the strategist's seats. The upper level is shallow enough that the ice stays close, and the price is usually well below the lower bowl.
  • Upper ends (313 to 322, 329 to 307): the most distant seats for hockey, best kept for budget nights.

The Predators shoot twice at one end of the ice, which pushes demand up for that end; ask the seller or check the team's current guidance, since published sources disagree on which end it is.

How a concert stage reshapes the arena

For an end-stage concert, the arena's concert map places the stage at the 109 to 112 end, and the ice becomes a floor of temporary seating or standing room.

  • Behind the stage: lower sections 109 to 112 and the upper sections around 316 to 319 face the back of the stage, so they are usually closed or sold as limited view.
  • Side-stage sections: 107, 108, 113 and 114 below, and 312 to 314 and 321 to 323 above, sit very close to the stage but at a sharp angle. Expect to lose part of the stage set and the video screens on the far side.
  • Head-on lower sections: 119, 120, 101 and 102 face the stage straight on from the far end. They are farther away than the floor but raised, which many fans prefer to a flat floor seat.
  • Club and upper sidelines toward the far end: 201 to 206, 219 to 224 and the 300s around 301 are the head-on views from height.

Floor seats are flat, so anyone past the first several rows watches over heads and relies on the screens. A low row in a lower-level sideline section nearest the stage is often the smarter buy. Center-stage and in-the-round shows use a different map entirely, with every side facing the performers, so check the event-specific chart on your listing.

Basketball and other floor events

For basketball, including the SEC men's tournament when it comes to Nashville, the court sits in the same footprint as the rink, and capacity rises to about 18,500. The center-ice sections become the center-court sections: 105, 106, 115 and 116 below, and 309, 310, 325 and 326 above.

  • Sideline lower bowl: the premium view, with the court laid out side to side.
  • Baseline lower bowl: close to one basket, with the far end of the court foreshortened.
  • Upper baseline: the weakest basketball view in the building, a long look down the length of the court.

Bull riding, family shows and other floor events vary widely, so check the event map before choosing a section.

Club level and premium seating

The 200-level ring is the club level, with its own concourse and premium spaces. The arena's A-to-Z guide places the Lexus Lounge near section 103, served by its own elevator, and lists the Mother's Lounge, with rocking chairs and changing tables, on the club level near section 213.

Leased premium spaces include the 501 Club, an 80-member club on the club level with all-inclusive food, beverage and parking, and the Flight Deck, with private bar-style table seating and in-seat service. Opera Boxes, Loge Boxes and luxury suites round out the premium inventory.

Club sideline seats near 209, 210, 215 and 216 give one of the best hockey angles in the building, at a price that reflects it. For a similar height at a lower price, the first rows of the upper-level sideline are the closest substitute.

Accessible seating locations

The arena publishes separate ADA seating maps for hockey and for concerts.

  • Hockey: wheelchair locations at lower sections 101, 102, 119 and 120, at the rear of center-ice sections 106 and 115, across the 108 to 113 end, at club sections 201 and 223, and at upper sections 302, 304, 308, 314, 320 to 322, 324, 327, 331 and 333.
  • Concerts: the platforms at the stage end and in sections 314 and 320 to 322 drop out, and floor-level wheelchair positions are added in front of the stage.
  • Elevators: near sections 110, 215, 315 and 117/218, per the A-to-Z guide.
  • Other services: wheelchairs and assisted listening devices are available at Guest Services near section 103 with a photo ID, and sign interpreters can be requested two weeks before an event.

Confirm current locations on the arena's seating charts page before you buy. Tickets bought through GoodSeats come with no digital transfer fees.
