Who Pitbull is
Pitbull is the stage name of Armando Christian Perez, a rapper, singer and entertainer born in Miami in 1981 to Cuban parents, and his concerts are high-energy dance parties built almost entirely around hit singles. He tours most often in summer, in amphitheaters (outdoor venues with a covered reserved pavilion and a lawn behind it) and arenas, frequently on shared bills with other headliners.
He started in the early 2000s in reggaeton, Latin hip-hop and crunk (a Southern hip-hop style built on chants and heavy bass), releasing his debut album M.I.A.M.I. in 2004 with Lil Jon as executive producer. His breakthrough came with "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" from Pitbull Starring in Rebelution (2009). After moving toward pop, he reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Give Me Everything" (2011) and "Timber" with Kesha (2013), and added hits such as "Feel This Moment" with Christina Aguilera and "Time of Our Lives" with Ne-Yo.
His Spanish-language album Dale won the Grammy for Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album in 2016. He performed "We Are One (Ole Ola)" with Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte at the 2014 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony, and Florida International University named its football stadium Pitbull Stadium in 2024.
What a Pitbull concert looks like
The show is designed to keep a crowd dancing from start to finish. Expect a dense run of party hits, a troupe of dancers, pyrotechnics and fog effects, and a large video wall. On the 2021 I Feel Good Tour, a reviewer described a set of more than 90 minutes on an amphitheater stage with a video wall and a steel staircase at center, cryo jets, pyro during "Fireball", and duet partners such as Christina Aguilera, Kesha and Jennifer Lopez appearing on screen for their parts.
Because many of his biggest songs are collaborations, the on-screen or guest-artist duets are part of the format. The crowd skews toward groups out for a night, and most of the audience stands for the whole set, including in reserved seats.
Tours over the years
Pitbull's touring record, as listed in his published tour history:
- Rebelution Tour (2009 to 2011) and the Planet Pit World Tour (2012), his first headline runs after his pop breakthrough.
- North American tour with Kesha (2013).
- Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull Live (2017), a co-headline tour of North America. He also opened for Enrique Iglesias on the Sex and Love Tour (2014 to 2015).
- Pitbull: Time of Our Lives (2015 to 2019), a Las Vegas residency.
- I Feel Good Tour (August 20 to October 13, 2021): 32 US shows with Iggy Azalea, mostly in amphitheaters, grossing about 20.3 million US dollars on 424,545 tickets, per Pollstar's year-end count.
- Can't Stop Us Now Tour (July 28 to October 19, 2022), with Iggy Azalea and Sean Paul, from Raleigh, North Carolina, to Hollywood, Florida.
- The Trilogy Tour (2023) and its 2024 continuation, co-headlined with Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin.
- Party After Dark Tour (2024).

No later tour had been announced in the sources reviewed as of October 2026. Any scheduled dates appear in the live event list on this page.
Where to sit for a Pitbull show
Most of his North American dates are amphitheater or arena shows with an end stage (the stage at one end, the audience facing it). The right seat depends on what kind of night you want.
- Pit or front reserved sections: the dancing core of the crowd, close to the pyro and the dancers. Expect to stand all night.
- Center reserved sections under the amphitheater pavilion: the best balance of view, sound and shelter from rain, with a straight-on look at the video wall.
- Side reserved sections: fine for this show, since the staging is broad and the video wall carries the duets, but the furthest side seats can miss part of the screen.
- The lawn (general admission grass behind the reserved seats): the value and social option, popular with groups. Arrive early for a spot near the front of the lawn, bring a blanket if the venue allows it, and check whether low lawn chairs are permitted.
- Arena upper level: workable for a production built around lights and screens; center sections facing the stage beat side sections near the stage.
On co-headline bills, check which artist closes the night before you choose a seat or plan your arrival.
How demand for Pitbull tickets behaves
Pitbull tickets are usually easier to get than those for stadium pop acts, because his tours play many cities and the amphitheater format adds large lawn sections. Demand still concentrates in predictable places:
- Friday and Saturday dates usually draw the most demand, as with most summer tours.
- Co-headline tours such as the Trilogy Tour draw several fan bases at once, which pushes up demand for the closest reserved sections.
- Presales (card-member, artist and venue presales ahead of the general sale) take the first wave of front seats, so resale is often where fans find pit and front-row seats.
- Lawn prices tend to be the most stable, while front sections move with demand as the show nears.
Every GoodSeats order includes guaranteed entry. For news from the artist, see his official site.
Before you go
- Dress for heat and rain. Summer amphitheater shows are outdoors on the lawn and partly outdoors in many reserved sections.
- Check the venue's bag and chair rules. Amphitheaters often limit bag size and lawn chair height; confirm the current policy with the venue before you go.
- Expect a dance crowd. If you want to sit through the show, choose a center reserved seat further back or the upper level of an arena.
