The Next Step Takes Center Stage Again with Global Legacy World Tour

Fans of the hit teen dance drama The Next Step have something big to celebrate. Boat Rocker Studios and MRG Live have announced that the series will hit the road in 2026 for a worldwide tour featuring its beloved cast and brand-new choreography. The Legacy World Tour will bring high-energy performances, dazzling routines, and familiar faces to stages across Canada, the UK, Ireland, and Australia.

A Celebration of a Global Phenomenon

Since its debut in 2013, The Next Step has captured hearts worldwide with its blend of dance, drama, and youthful ambition. The series has aired in over 120 countries, spanning more than 250 episodes across 10 seasons. It remains a mainstay on networks like CBBC, ABC, and YTV, and continues to attract a new generation of fans through streaming platforms such as BBC iPlayer.

The upcoming tour brings the spirit of the show directly to the fans who have kept it alive for over a decade. “The Next Step has been electrifying fans around the world since 2013 with its high-energy performances and talented, awe-inspiring cast,” said Jon Rutherford, President of Global Rights, Franchise & Content Strategy at Boat Rocker Studios. “We’re thrilled to partner with MRG to take the show on the road and give audiences a front-row seat to the artistry and athleticism that made this series a smash hit.”

Star Power Meets Stage Lights

The Legacy World Tour features a mix of returning stars and fan favorites, including Victoria Baldesarra (Michelle), Trevor Tordjman (James), Briar Nolet (Richelle), Jordan Clark (Giselle), Noah Zulfikar (Kingston), Emmerly Tinglin (Kenzie), Carter Musselman (Heath), Alex Chaves (Piper), Benjamin Williams (Pete), and Shane Mahabir (Ethan). The tour is choreographed by Amy Wright, Trevor Tordjman, and Jordan Clark—two of whom also serve as creative directors. That combination ensures that the live experience will feel authentic to the show while adding new choreography made exclusively for the stage.

Where Fans Can See the Action

The tour will kick off in February 2026 in London with stops at major venues such as the Indigo at the O2, New Wimbledon Theatre, and Brighton Dome. From there, the production travels through Dublin, Manchester, and York before crossing the Atlantic for shows in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. The tour then continues to Australia in April, lighting up stages in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, and the Gold Coast, among others.

Fans can expect dynamic dance numbers that highlight the skill and chemistry that made the series famous. Every performance will tell its own story—one that blends nostalgia with the excitement of a new chapter. Pre-sale tickets go live on October 29, with general sales starting on October 31.

Behind the Production

The Next Step is produced by Boat Rocker Studios with the participation of the Shaw Rocket Fund and distributed globally by Boat Rocker Studios and BBC Studios. The live tour continues the brand’s expansion beyond television, reinforcing the series’ unique ability to bridge storytelling and dance performance. Over the years, Boat Rocker has built a reputation for turning hit shows into global experiences—and this latest project is no exception.

With a strong creative team, a passionate cast, and a loyal fanbase, The Next Step: Legacy World Tour stands as more than a reunion—it’s a victory lap for a show that proved dance can be both competitive and deeply personal. For many fans, this will be their first chance to see these performers live, a rare moment to connect with the stars who brought their favorite characters to life.

As the cast takes the stage across continents, one thing is certain: The Next Step isn’t slowing down—it’s just getting started. With its mix of talent, nostalgia, and stage production, the Legacy World Tour might just be the most exciting encore yet for this global dance sensation.
