Ariana Grande on stage, in brief
Ariana Grande is a pop and R&B singer from Boca Raton, Florida, born in 1993, and one of the hardest tickets in live music to get. She tours arenas (indoor venues built for basketball and hockey) rather than stadiums, and her recent tour stayed for several nights in each major city instead of playing more cities. The result is limited supply against enormous demand, so the presale is usually where the fight happens.
She started on Broadway in the musical 13 in 2008, became widely known as Cat Valentine on Nickelodeon's Victorious (2010 to 2013), and released her first album, Yours Truly, in 2013. Seven albums followed through Eternal Sunshine (2024), including Sweetener (2018), which won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album. She played Glinda in the two-part film of Wicked (2024 and 2025) and earned an Academy Award nomination for the role.
What her concerts look like
Her shows are fully staged productions with a story running through them, built around her voice. The Eternal Sunshine Tour, for example, was divided into five acts separated by video interludes, ran about two hours, and centered on a set designed as a ruined house that becomes overgrown with flowers as the night goes on. The Sweetener World Tour in 2019 used a semicircular runway that looped around an audience pit, a B-stage (a secondary stage out in the crowd) and a large orb that fans nicknamed the moon.
Because the set is the show, sightlines to the full stage and the screens matter more than raw distance. Her audiences sing along throughout, so expect a loud room even in the upper level.
Tours and major performances
Her major headlining tours are listed here with the dates from the cited tour records.
- The Honeymoon Tour (2015).
- Dangerous Woman Tour (2017): after the May 22, 2017, attack following her concert at Manchester Arena, she organized the One Love Manchester benefit concert on June 4, 2017.
- Sweetener World Tour (March to December 2019): 97 arena shows, including Madison Square Garden and The O2 in London, with reported attendance of about 1.3 million. She also headlined both weekends of Coachella in April 2019.
- The Eternal Sunshine Tour (June 6 to September 1, 2026): 41 arena shows in the United States, Canada and England, opening at Oakland Arena and closing at The O2 in London. The run included 12 shows in the Los Angeles area across Crypto.com Arena and Kia Forum, five at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, ten at The O2, and multiple nights in Boston, Montreal, Chicago and Atlanta.
As of October 2026, no later tour had been announced in the sources reviewed. If new dates are added, they will appear in the live event list on this page.
Choosing seats for an Ariana Grande arena show
Stage designs differ from tour to tour, so check the seating map on your event for the layout in use. For her recent end-stage arena setups with a runway or B-stage, these principles hold:
- Floor near the runway or pit: the closest moments of the night, but floor sections are flat, so short fans further back see mostly the screens.
- Lower-bowl sections facing the stage (the first raised tier): the best seats for a story-driven production. You see the whole set and the video, and you look down onto any runway rather than across it.
- Lower-bowl side sections near the stage: very close, but at a sharp angle parts of the set can be hidden. Favor side sections a little back from the stage over those level with it.
- Upper level, center: the value choice. Arenas are compact enough that the front rows upstairs still read the set clearly.
Avoid seats sold as behind the stage or limited view unless the listing explains what is visible. For a show built on staging and video, those seats lose more than they would at a band concert.
Why her tickets are so hard to get
Demand for her tours is extreme relative to supply. For the Eternal Sunshine Tour, about six million users tried for North American tickets and roughly two million prospective buyers queued for London; the London shows sold out in about 15 minutes, and North American dates sold out within minutes in both the presale and the general sale. Ticketing sites crashed under the load during the presale.
A few patterns follow from that:
- Registration-based presales decide most first-wave sales. Fans typically must register in advance for a chance at a code, and the general on-sale may have little left.
- Multi-night stands spread demand. In a city with several shows, the first and last nights and the weekend dates usually draw the most interest.
- Resale is how many fans get in. On the secondary market, prices can run well above face value early and may move closer to show day as plans change, though in-demand dates do not always ease.

The Eternal Sunshine Tour show ran about two hours, divided into five acts with video interludes. Plan for extra time if there is an opening act.
