The Clippers' own arena in Inglewood
Intuit Dome is the indoor arena in Inglewood, California, built for the LA Clippers. It seats 18,300 for basketball, opened on August 15, 2024, with two Bruno Mars concerts, and stands on West Century Boulevard just south of SoFi Stadium and the Kia Forum. It is the newest arena in the NBA.
Clippers owner Steve Ballmer paid for the building privately, at a reported cost of about 2 billion dollars, so the team no longer has to share a building with the Lakers and Kings. At Crypto.com Arena, the Clippers' court and banners had to be swapped in and out around other tenants' events; here, the whole building is designed around one team. Intuit holds the naming rights under a 23-year deal. AECOM designed the arena, which includes a team practice facility, offices and a large outdoor plaza with public basketball courts.
Beyond Clippers games from October through April (and later in a playoff year), the arena books major concerts, comedy, UFC and WWE events. It hosted the 2026 NBA All-Star Game on February 15, 2026, and is scheduled for the 2027 Laver Cup and the basketball tournament at the 2028 Summer Olympics.
Intuit Dome seating chart: The Wall, Main and Terrace levels
The arena's own guide names its seating areas as the Floor, Main, Club, Terrace, Halo Suite and Halo Loft levels. On tickets and seat maps, the Main and Terrace sections carry letter prefixes, so a seat might read M22 (Main level) or T24 (Terrace level). In practice the bowl has two public seating rings: the Main level closest to the court and the Terrace level above it, with suites and lofts set between and around them.
The defining feature is The Wall: 51 consecutive rows of seats, with no suites breaking them up, rising behind the baseline at one end of the court. It sits on the east end, next to the visitors' bench, and is reserved for Clippers fans. According to visitor guides, the front rows form a supporters section for season ticket holders, and opposing team gear is not welcome there. The design borrows from the Yellow Wall at Borussia Dortmund's stadium in Germany, and opposing players have described it as an unusually loud road environment.
Above the court hangs the Halo Board, a double-sided ring of video screens covering 38,375 square feet. Because it wraps the bowl rather than hanging as a cube at center court, you watch replays on the side of the ring facing you.
Full section-number ranges were not published in a form that could be verified for this guide. Check the seat map at checkout for the exact section and row.
Best seats for Clippers games and concerts
Clippers games
Sideline seats on the Main level give the cleanest view of both ends and the benches. The premium sideline option is the Backstage Bungalows, which pair Main-level seats with a private suite behind the bowl; on the baseline, Courtside Cabanas put seats at floor level next to the player tunnel with a private room below. For atmosphere rather than polish, The Wall is the choice: it is the loudest part of the building, and the middle rows still see the full court over the near basket.
Terrace level
The upper bowl is steep. Visitors describe standing on the upper concourse and looking down as being like the top of a funnel. That rake keeps you closer to the court than in many older arenas, but anyone uncomfortable with heights should aim for the lower rows of the Terrace or the Main level.
Concerts
For end-stage shows, floor seats and Main-level sections facing the stage are the premium tickets. Depending on where the stage goes, The Wall may face it or sit behind it, so check the event's seat map before assuming a Wall seat faces the show.
Seats to think twice about
- Front rows of The Wall if you are a visiting fan: that area is set aside for Clippers supporters.
- High Terrace rows for a first visit with young children: the steps are steep, and the climb is long.
Demand typically runs highest for marquee opponents such as the Lakers, for weekend dates and for playoff games.
Intuit Dome parking, Metro shuttle and rideshare
Plan your trip before you leave. As of fall 2026, the arena says that to be guaranteed a garage space you must buy a parking pass and complete a Vehicle Profile before the event. Passes are sold through JustPark, and the garages use license-plate recognition, so register your car in the Clippers and Intuit Dome app. Garages open about four hours before the start time, and parking is cashless.
- West Garage: the premium garage at 10117 S. Prairie Ave., entered from Prairie Avenue.
- Standard East Garage: 3665 W. 102nd St., entered from 102nd Street.
- Players' Garage: 3850 W. 102nd St.
Without a pass, the arena recommends carpooling or rideshare. Rideshare is allowed only at the Mobility Hub on the first level of the Standard East Garage, at 3700 W. Century Blvd.
Metro is the low-stress option. Ride the C Line to Hawthorne/Lennox, or the K Line to Inglewood or LAX/Metro Transit Center, and transfer to the free Intuit Express shuttle, which runs every 20 minutes starting two hours before games and every 10 minutes for an hour after. Bus Lines 115, 117 and 212 also stop nearby. See Metro's Intuit Dome page for current service.
Intuit Dome bag policy and app entry (fall 2026)
Intuit Dome runs one of the tightest bag rules in the NBA. As of fall 2026, only personal clutches, including clear bags, no larger than 10 by 6 by 2 inches are allowed. Medical and childcare bags up to 14 by 14 by 6 inches are permitted after X-ray screening. Professional cameras with interchangeable lenses, selfie sticks, large flags and noisemakers are prohibited. Check the arena's Know Before You Go page for the current policy before you go.
Entry is unusual too. You must download the Intuit Dome app and create an account to access your tickets. Fans can enroll in GameFace ID, a facial-authentication option that lets you walk through the entrance with your phone in your pocket, or use an Identity Pass saved to your phone's wallet.
- Doors: 90 minutes before tipoff for basketball; concert door times vary.
- Payment: cashless; add a card to your app profile to speed up purchases.
- Children: those 2 and under do not need a ticket if they sit on an adult's lap.
- Food and water: no outside food or drinks; refillable bottles under one quart can be filled at stations inside.
- Smoking: prohibited everywhere, including vaping.
Every GoodSeats order is backed by a 100% guarantee.
Amenities and the outdoor plaza
The arena was built to cut lines. It has more than 1,100 toilets and urinals, about three times the league average, and the cashless setup is designed for walk-through purchases. Outside, the plaza holds public basketball courts and a set of commissioned artworks, including Glenn Kaino's sculpture of clipper ships with backboard-and-hoop sails at the main entrance. Arrive early on game days; the plaza is the place to meet a group before you scan in.
Why the Clippers built their own building
The Clippers played at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena from 1984 to 1999 and then at Staples Center, now Crypto.com Arena, from 1999 to 2024, always as a secondary tenant. Ballmer, who bought the team in 2014, pursued a dedicated arena in Inglewood through lawsuits that the Clippers said were backed by the owner of the nearby Forum. Ground was broken on September 17, 2021, and the building opened less than three years later.
