Who FKA twigs is and what you are buying

FKA twigs is the English singer, songwriter, producer and dancer Tahliah Debrett Barnett, whose music blends electronic production, R&B and avant-garde pop. A ticket buys a choreographed performance staged in acts with a dance ensemble, not a standard run through the songs. Since her 2026 Body High Tour she has played arenas as well as theaters, and a raised seat that shows the full stage is often worth more than a spot at the front.

Barnett was born January 17, 1988, in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, and moved to South London at 17 to pursue dance. She worked as a backup dancer in music videos for artists including Kylie Minogue, Ed Sheeran and Jessie J before releasing EP1 in 2012. The name Twigs came from the way her joints crack; she added FKA when another act called the Twigs asked her to change it, and she has said the letters do not stand for anything.

Her catalog moves from sparse, experimental R&B to club-driven electronic music.

• LP1 (2014): reached No. 16 in the UK and No. 30 on the Billboard 200, and was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize.
• Magdalene (2019): co-produced with Nicolas Jaar and placed first on several critics' year-end lists.
• Caprisongs (2022): a mixtape and her first release on Atlantic Records, featuring the Weeknd, Daniel Caesar and others.
• Eusexua and Eusexua Afterglow (2025): Eusexua won the 2026 Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album.

She also received the Godlike Genius award at the 2022 NME Awards.

A stage show built on dance

Choreography has been central to her live work from the start. In February 2015 she staged Congregata, a theatrical, choreographed performance, at the Roundhouse in London, and in July 2015 she held Soundtrack 7, a seven-day residency at the Manchester International Festival that became a dance film.

Her recent tours are structured like a theater piece. The 2025 Eusexua Tour set ran in named acts (The Practice, State of Being and The Pinnacle) with an encore titled Human Experience, and the 2026 Body High Tour set ran in six acts. A dance ensemble performs with her; visa paperwork for that stage ensemble was the reason given for several North American postponements in 2025. Expect a show to watch as much as to hear.

• LP1 tour (2014): opened October 2, 2014, at the Brighton Dome and ended December 3 in Orlando.
• Magdalene Tour (2019): began May 7, 2019, at the Palace Theatre in Los Angeles and ended December 3, 2019, mixing theaters and halls such as Kings Theatre in Brooklyn and two nights at the Park Avenue Armory with festival sets including Glastonbury and Primavera Sound.
• Eusexua Tour (2025): 22 shows from March 13, 2025, in Paris to August 23, 2025, at All Points East in London. Extra dates were added in Chicago, Toronto and New York for demand, and a second London show followed a quick sellout. Berlin and Prague were postponed for production issues, and several North American dates, including Coachella, were canceled or moved.
• Body High Tour (2026): 21 shows from March 14, 2026, in Miami to June 12, 2026, in Berlin, in theaters and arenas including Madison Square Garden and The O2 Arena in London. It was her biggest headlining tour to date.

Where to sit for an FKA twigs show

Because the show is choreographed for a full stage, the view of the whole picture often matters more than proximity. Check each event's seating map for the layout and whether the floor is general admission (standing, first come, first served).

Arenas

• Floor: closest to her and the most intense part of the room. From the middle and back of a flat floor, floor-level choreography disappears behind the crowd.
• Lower bowl facing the stage: often the best seat for this artist. The raised, straight-on view shows the full ensemble and the staging as designed.
• Lower-bowl sides: close, but steep side angles flatten the choreography and can hide parts of the set.
• Upper level, center: the value pick. Formations read clearly from above, though facial detail depends on the screens.

Theaters and halls

Her theater and hall dates are the most intimate way to see the show. In seated theaters, the front mezzanine at center often beats the front orchestra rows, which can sit below the stage line and miss the dancers' footwork. In general-admission halls, standing on a raised tier at the back or sides can give a better sightline than the middle of the floor.

FKA twigs tours less often than many pop acts and plays a limited number of cities, which concentrates demand. A few patterns help:
