Who Seventeen are and what a concert ticket buys
Seventeen is a 13-member South Korean K-pop group under Pledis Entertainment that debuted on May 26, 2015: S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino. A ticket buys a long, high-production concert built on synchronized large-group choreography, with arena dates in North America and stadium and dome dates in Asia. The fandom is called Carat.
The group is known for producing its own work. Woozi has written and produced the group's tracks, with contributions from other members, and the members take part in songwriting and choreography. Hoshi leads the performance unit, one of three units (hip-hop, vocal and performance) that split off within the show. FML (2023) was the best-selling album of 2023 according to the IFPI (the international recording industry body), Seventeenth Heaven (2023) drew 5.2 million pre-orders, and the group won MAMA Album of the Year in 2023 and 2024.
Inside a Seventeen show
Choreography is the centerpiece. With up to 13 members on stage, the formations are designed to be read from a distance, and the show moves between full-group numbers and unit stages for the hip-hop, vocal and performance teams. Expect filmed interludes on the screens, talk segments between songs and a large, organized fan crowd that sings and chants along.
The lineup on stage varies by tour. Members began mandatory military service in South Korea in 2024: Jeonghan enlisted in September 2024, Wonwoo in April 2025, and Woozi and Hoshi in September 2025, with the remaining members scheduled through 2026 and a full-group return planned for 2028. The Right Here tour in 2024 ran with eleven members, and the 2025 New_ World Tour ran with nine. Check the lineup announced for any date before you buy.
Seventeen's tours and milestone shows
The tours below are documented in this page's sources. Current dates appear in the live event list.
- Ode to You (2019): Asia and North America; the Europe leg was canceled because of COVID-19.
- Be the Sun (2022): Seoul, North America, Southeast Asia and six Japanese dome shows, including Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome Osaka.
- Follow (July 2023 to May 2024): opened with two nights at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on July 21 and 22, 2023.
- Right Here World Tour (from October 2024): the North American leg played two nights each at Allstate Arena near Chicago, UBS Arena on Long Island, Frost Bank Center in San Antonio and Oakland Arena, then closed at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on November 9 and 10, 2024, the group's first US stadium shows.
- New_ World Tour (2025): the group's sixth tour, performed by the nine members not then in military service.
Festival milestones include Glastonbury on June 28, 2024, where Seventeen was the first K-pop act to perform, and a headline slot at Lollapalooza Berlin in September 2024.
Where to sit for Seventeen
North American dates have mostly played arenas in an end-stage layout, with extended runways common at K-pop shows. Check the seating map on each event; the stage shape changes the best sections.
- Floor: the closest view of the members, but a flat floor makes the formations hard to see past the first several rows, and fans hold light sticks and phones overhead. Floor seating at K-pop arena shows is often assigned rather than standing; the event map will show which.
- Lower bowl facing the stage: the best seat for this group. The raised angle shows the full 9- to 13-person formations as they were designed, plus the screens.
- Lower bowl near a runway or extended stage: members often travel out along runways during the show, which brings side sections closer at those moments. A side seat near the stage itself can hide one end of the formation.
- Upper level: the value tier. The fan light-stick displays look their best from up high, and center sections still read the choreography well.
- Stadiums: at a stadium such as BMO Stadium, the lower sections facing the stage beat distant floor rows, where you will watch the screens more than the stage.
How demand for Seventeen tickets behaves
Seventeen's North American dates are few and short, usually two nights per city, which concentrates demand.
- Fan-membership presales come first. K-pop tours typically open presales to paid fan-club members before the general on-sale, and the best floor and lower-bowl seats often go there.
- Second nights can be the better buy. The first night in a city tends to draw the most attention; the second night often has more inventory left.
- Lineup news moves prices. Announcements about which members will appear, given the military service schedule, shift demand quickly.
- Coastal and large markets run hot. On the 2024 leg, the Los Angeles stadium shows and the New York-area arena nights posted the highest grosses.
Resale prices can sit above or below face value and usually move as the date approaches. Every GoodSeats order is backed by a 100% guarantee. For group announcements, see Pledis Entertainment's official site.
