Who Stray Kids are

Stray Kids is an eight-member K-pop group (Korean popular music built on rap, vocals and synchronized choreography) from JYP Entertainment, and in the United States it now plays stadiums and major-league ballparks. The members are Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N. The group formed through a 2017 survival reality show, with leader Bang Chan choosing each member from JYP's trainees, and it debuted on March 25, 2018, with the EP I Am Not.

What sets the group apart is that it writes its own material. 3Racha, the in-house production unit of Bang Chan, Changbin and Han, writes and composes most of the songs. The sound is loud and heavy for K-pop: "God's Menu" (2020), often called the group's signature track, "Maniac" (2022), "S-Class" (2023) and "Chk Chk Boom" (2024).

A chart run that pushed them into stadiums

Oddinary, released in March 2022, reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making Stray Kids the third Korean act to top the chart after BTS and SuperM. The group kept going: it became the first act to debut at No. 1 with its first nine Billboard 200 entries.

The live footprint grew just as fast. In 2024 the group headlined Lollapalooza in Chicago, BST Hyde Park in London and I-Days in Milan, and in May 2024 it attended the Met Gala as a group, the first group to do so together. The fan base is called Stay.

What a Stray Kids concert is like

Expect a high-volume, performance-heavy show: hard-hitting choreography across the full group, rap-led songs, unit and solo stages, and big production moments. On the Dominate World Tour, the members wore draped outfits inspired by Greek and Roman dress, used rolling doors built into the stage, and made a second-act entrance in a black classic car.

The crowd is part of the show. Stay sings the fan chants, holds up light sticks through the night and stays loud even in the upper deck. Expect many fans to stand for long stretches, even in reserved seats.

Stray Kids tours, dated

  • District 9: Unlock World Tour (2019–2020): the group's first world tour.
  • Maniac World Tour (April 2022 to April 2023): a North American arena leg in June and July 2022 that included the Prudential Center, the United Center, two nights at the Kia Forum, Climate Pledge Arena and the Honda Center, with dates added because of demand. A 2023 leg played State Farm Arena, Dickies Arena and BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, where the tour ended on April 2, 2023.
  • 5-Star Dome Tour (August to October 2023): dome shows in South Korea and Japan.
  • Dominate World Tour (August 24, 2024, to October 19, 2025): 56 shows across Asia, Australia, Latin America, North America and Europe. Where to sit for a Stray Kids stadium show

Stage layouts vary by tour and venue, so check the map for your event before you buy. For a typical end stage (a stage at one end of the field):

  • Field sections near the stage: the closest seats, but the field is flat, so from mid-floor back you watch through the crowd and on the screens.
  • Lower-level sections facing the stage: the strongest overall pick. You sit above the floor and see the full formation, which matters for a dance-focused group.
  • Lower-level sideline seats near the stage: close and raised, but at an angle; avoid seats sold as limited or side view.
  • Upper deck facing the stage: the value tier, with a full view of the production and the light-stick crowd.

Ballparks need extra care. In a baseball park the stage often sits in the outfield or over second base, and some infield or foul-territory seats face away from it. Read the event map rather than assuming a section's usual baseball view.

How demand for Stray Kids tickets behaves

Demand for the group's American dates is intense, and it arrives early. Patterns to plan around:

  • Presales take the first wave. Fan-membership and verified-fan style presales (registration-based sales that screen buyers before an on-sale) usually claim much of the best inventory.
  • Second nights help. In cities with two shows, the added or weekday date can be easier to get into than the first.
  • Resale follows the sellout. Prices on the secondary market tend to peak right after the general sale and can move as the date nears, though there is no guarantee they fall.
  • Fans travel. Many in the crowd fly in, so book hotels near the stadium when you buy tickets.
