Who Zedd is and what his shows sound like

Zedd is the Russian-German DJ and producer Anton Zaslavski, best known for melodic electronic dance music (EDM) with pop vocalists on top. He plays three kinds of rooms: Las Vegas nightclubs, his own headline tours in arenas and large theaters, and festival main stages. A ticket buys a DJ-and-production set built around his hits, so crowds sing as much as they dance.

Born on September 2, 1989, in Saratov in the Soviet Union, he grew up in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He started piano at four and drums at twelve, played drums in the metalcore band Dioramic, and began producing electronic music in 2009. His track "Shave It" came out on Skrillex's label OWSLA in 2011, and in 2013 he produced "Aura," "G.U.Y." and "Donatella" for Lady Gaga's Artpop.

Zedd's catalog is unusually song-driven for a DJ, and that shapes the room: expect big choruses rather than long, wordless builds.

His albums are Clarity (2012), True Colors (2015) and Telos (August 30, 2024), all on Interscope. Telos moved toward a more musical, band-influenced sound, with guests including John Mayer, Muse, Remi Wolf and a posthumous Jeff Buckley vocal.

Where to stand or sit for a Zedd show

The right ticket depends on the room. Check the layout on each event's seating map before buying.

Arena and theater dates

• General admission floor: standing, first come, first served. The center of the floor, a little behind the front barricade, gets the full lighting and laser picture with room to dance.
• Lower-level seats facing the stage: the best seated view of the production, which is designed to be seen straight on.
• Side sections near the stage: close, but the visual show flattens out at a sharp angle. Skip seats marked side view or limited view.

Las Vegas club nights

Club entry is usually general admission, with table packages (reserved tables with bottle service) sold separately. Doors, dress codes and age rules (21 and over is typical in Las Vegas clubs) are set by the venue, so check the venue's current policy before you go.

Festivals

Festival sets are general admission within the festival ticket. Arrive before the set starts if you want to be close; the area in front of the soundboard tower gives the best sound.

How demand for Zedd tickets behaves
