Upcoming Tiësto dates
Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.
Who Tiësto is and what a ticket buys
Tiësto is the stage name of Tijs Michiel Verwest, a Dutch DJ and record producer born in Breda in 1969 and active since 1994. A Tiësto ticket buys a DJ set (a continuous mix of tracks played and blended live from the booth) built on EDM, house and the trance sound that made his name. Depending on the date, that set can happen in a Las Vegas nightclub, on a festival main stage or in an arena, and each of those rooms calls for a different kind of ticket.
His résumé is unusually long for an electronic artist. DJ Mag readers voted him the No. 1 DJ in the world three years running, from 2002 through 2004, and in 2013 the magazine's readers named him the best DJ of the previous 20 years. He won the Grammy for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical in 2015 for his remix of John Legend's "All of Me," after his album Elements of Life drew a Best Electronic/Dance Album nomination in 2008. He founded the label Black Hole Recordings in 1997 and launched Musical Freedom in 2009.
From trance stadium shows to pop crossover
Tiësto's career falls into two broad phases, and fans of each phase often want different shows.
- The trance years: on May 10, 2003, he played a solo stadium concert for about 25,000 people at the GelreDome in Arnhem, then returned the following October for two nights that drew about 35,000. At the 2004 Summer Olympics opening ceremony in Athens he played for 90 minutes, the first DJ to play live on stage at an Olympics.
- The crossover years: A Town Called Paradise (2014) produced "Red Lights" and "Wasted," his first two gold singles in the United States, and "The Business" (2020) became one of his biggest pop-radio records. His studio albums run from In My Memory (2001) through Drive (2023).
His long-running radio show, Tiësto's Club Life, launched in 2007 and ended in December 2025 after 978 episodes; a new show, Prismatic, followed in January 2026. In 2025 he premiered a special "In Search of Sunrise" set, a nod to his trance-era mix series, at EDC Las Vegas, which signals that the older catalog still has a place in his live sets.
The rooms Tiësto plays
Few headliners move between venue types as often as Tiësto does. Knowing which kind of room an event is matters more than the city.
Las Vegas and nightclubs
Las Vegas has been a home base for years. Clark County proclaimed a Tiësto Day and the city gave him a key in January 2017, he has played New Year's Eve concerts at Orleans Arena, and LIV Las Vegas announced him for 2026. Nightclub shows usually mean a standing dance floor, table service areas and a late start. Most Las Vegas nightclubs admit guests 21 and over only, so check the event listing before you buy.
Festivals
He headlines electronic and multi-genre festivals, including Coachella and EDC Las Vegas in 2025. A festival ticket covers the whole event, not a single set, and the set time is usually announced close to the date.
Arenas and landmark shows
Larger standalone productions include the 2003 and 2004 GelreDome concerts and a three-and-a-half-hour show at the Giza Pyramid Complex in Egypt on December 19, 2025. He was also scheduled as the in-game DJ at Super Bowl LVIII in February 2024 but canceled because of a family emergency.
Where to stand or sit for a Tiësto set
A DJ show differs from a band concert in one important way: the performer barely moves. The show is the sound system, the lighting rig and the crowd, so pick your spot for those.
- General-admission floor (standing, first come, first served): the right choice if you came to dance. The front rail is the most crowded spot and the bass is physical there; the middle of the floor, near the sound desk, usually has the most balanced mix and a full view of the lighting.
- Club tables and raised areas: at nightclubs, tables and raised sections trade dancing room for space and a view over the crowd. They are sold separately from general entry, and minimums and policies vary by club.
- Arena lower bowl facing the booth: the best reserved seat for a large production, since the LED walls and lasers are designed to be seen head-on.
- Side sections close to the stage: a weaker choice for a DJ than for a band. The angle shows you the back of the booth and cuts off the screen content.
- Upper level: a sound value for the light show, which reads well from height.
How demand for Tiësto tickets behaves
Demand for Tiësto depends on the type of event more than on the season.
- Holiday and event weekends run hot. New Year's Eve, festival weekends and dates tied to large events such as a Formula 1 race weekend draw the strongest demand. He played the Miami Grand Prix weekend in 2025.
- Club inventory is small. A nightclub holds a fraction of an arena's crowd, so a Las Vegas club night can sell through faster than an arena date in the same week.
- Special sets draw collectors. Announced trance or "In Search of Sunrise" sets attract longtime fans who travel for them.
- Festival passes move in tiers. Early tiers sell first, and the remaining inventory shifts to higher tiers and resale.
Resale prices can sit above or below face value and usually move as the date approaches. Every GoodSeats order is backed by a 100% guarantee. For announcements from the artist, see Tiësto's official site.
