The Golden Knights' arena on the Strip
T-Mobile Arena is the Las Vegas Strip's main indoor arena, set behind New York-New York and Park MGM, and it is home to the Vegas Golden Knights of the NHL. It seats about 17,500 for hockey (about 20,000 with standing room), 18,000 for basketball and up to 20,000 for boxing and mixed martial arts. Arena concerts, UFC cards, title fights and awards shows fill the nights the Knights are away.
- Hockey: the NHL regular season runs October into April, with playoffs into June in a deep run.
- Combat sports: the arena has a multiyear agreement to host UFC events and is a regular stop for championship boxing.
- Concerts and shows: touring acts, Latin music events and televised awards nights.
- Women's hockey: PWHL Las Vegas is scheduled to begin play here in the 2026–27 season.
How the arena is laid out
T-Mobile Arena has two main seating bowls around the floor, with premium spaces between them.
- Lower level: sections numbered 1 through 20 wrapping the ice.
- Upper level: sections in the 200s (about 201 to 227).
- Premium areas: the Center Ice Club, Hyde Lounge, loge boxes, terrace tables and suites. For Golden Knights games, glass seats at ice level come with club access and food and drink included.
For hockey, seating guides place the Golden Knights bench in front of section 5 and the visitors in front of section 6. The penalty boxes sit across the ice between sections 15 and 16. The Knights shoot twice (attack in two of three periods) toward the end in front of sections 9 through 12. When you face the ice, seat 1 is on your left, on the aisle nearest the lower-numbered section.
Best seats for hockey, fights and concerts
Hockey
- Center ice, sections 5–6 and 15–16: the best overall views, and the most expensive.
- Lower corners and the 9–12 end, rows above the glass: a strong value. The Knights spend two periods attacking that end, which is where goal celebrations happen.
- Upper level near center (around 204–206 and 222–224): the full ice in view, with plays developing in front of you.
- Low rows behind the nets: close to the action but seen through thick glass and netting, which can blur the far end. Pick these for atmosphere, not sightlines.
Boxing and UFC
With a ring or octagon in the middle of the floor, every side is a front side, and the lower-bowl sections close to the floor give the best value. Floor seats are the most expensive in the building, but rows far back on the flat floor can see less than the first rows of the lower bowl, which are raised above the crowd.
Concerts
For an end-stage setup, lower-level sections along the sides near the stage are the sweet spot. Seats behind the stage are usually not sold or are sold as limited-view, and the upper sections directly across from the stage are the farthest in the house.
Demand and timing
The Golden Knights won the Stanley Cup in 2023 in their sixth season and draw full houses, so weekend games, holiday weeks and visits from Original Six teams with large traveling followings sell first. Midweek games against lower-profile opponents tend to have the deepest resale inventory. UFC and championship boxing pricing tracks the main event: a marquee fight can push even the upper level well above a normal night.
Getting there: walk, tram, monorail or garage
The arena's address is 3780 South Las Vegas Boulevard, and most visitors reach it on foot through The Park, the outdoor plaza between New York-New York and Park MGM.
- Walking: about 2 minutes from Park MGM and 3 minutes from New York-New York.
- Free trams: the Mandalay Bay–Luxor–Excalibur tram and the Park MGM–Aria–Bellagio tram both drop you nearby; check operating hours, which end earlier on weekdays for the Mandalay Bay line.
- Monorail: ride the Las Vegas Monorail to the MGM Grand station, then walk through the casino and across to the arena.
- Parking: reserved event parking has been offered at the New York-New York, Park MGM and Aria garages. The New York-New York garage is closest and connects by bridge to the suite level.
- Rideshare: drop-off is at the East Suite Entrance; post-event pickup is at New York-New York or Park MGM.
Bag policy and entry rules
T-Mobile Arena's bag rule is stricter than the clear-bag policy at most stadiums. As of 2026, no bags or backpacks are allowed except small personal bags no larger than 9 by 5 by 2 inches, including fanny packs and crossbody bags within that size. The rule began for Golden Knights games in October 2021 at the NHL's request. Bag check is available. Check the venue's current policy on the arena's A–Z guide before you go.
- No re-entry for any event.
- Cashless: cards and mobile pay only.
- Doors: generally 60 minutes before concerts; times vary by event.
- Cameras: no pro cameras, detachable lenses, GoPros, tripods or selfie sticks.

History of the arena
MGM Resorts and AEG broke ground on May 1, 2014, and the arena opened on April 6, 2016, with a concert by The Killers. Designed by Populous and built for about 375 million dollars, it gave Las Vegas the building it needed to win an NHL expansion team. The Golden Knights began play in 2017, reached the Stanley Cup Final in their first season and won the Cup in 2023, clinching on home ice. Fans call the building "The Fortress."
