The Killers, in brief

The Killers are the rock band formed in Las Vegas in 2001, fronted by singer and keyboardist Brandon Flowers with drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr., guitarist Dave Keuning and bassist Mark Stoermer. A Killers ticket usually means a big-room show: an arena in North America, a stadium or arena in the UK and Europe, or a festival headline set, built around songs most of the crowd already knows by heart.

Flowers met Keuning through a newspaper ad Keuning had placed in Las Vegas, and the name comes from a fictional band in the video for New Order's "Crystal." Their debut album, Hot Fuss, came out in June 2004 and reached No. 1 in the UK in January 2005, seven months after release; it spent 173 weeks on the UK albums chart. Its single "Mr. Brightside" became the longest-charting single in UK chart history, at 500 weeks. Six more studio albums followed: Sam's Town (2006), Day & Age (2008), Battle Born (2012), Wonderful Wonderful (2017), Imploding the Mirage (2020) and Pressure Machine (2021). The band has sold more than 35 million records and played in more than 50 countries.

What a Killers concert feels like

The show is a crowd-singing event. "Mr. Brightside," "Somebody Told Me," "When You Were Young," "Human" and "All These Things That I've Done" carry the loudest moments, and newer songs from Imploding the Mirage sit alongside them. Flowers is the focal point, and the production leans on showmanship with a Las Vegas flavor: on the 2024 Rebel Diamonds Tour the band played on a diamond-shaped stage carpeted to look like a casino floor, with a light-up "K" at the front.

Guests have been part of the story. Bruce Springsteen joined the band for an encore at Madison Square Garden during the Imploding the Mirage Tour, a set released as the Encore at the Garden EP in April 2025, and Lindsey Buckingham also made guest appearances on that tour.

The touring lineup has shifted. Flowers and Vannucci are the constants. Stoermer has been on a touring hiatus since 2016, apart from select appearances, and Keuning stepped back in 2017, returned to touring between 2020 and 2022, and has been off the road since, according to the band's Wikipedia entry. Touring musicians fill those parts. The original four played together for the August 2024 Hot Fuss anniversary residency in Las Vegas.

Tours and residencies, by date

  • Sam's Town Tour (2007): high demand moved the band into arenas, including Madison Square Garden for the first time, and they headlined Glastonbury Festival.
  • Day & Age World Tour (2008–2010): their first headline sets at Lollapalooza and Coachella, with a live film recorded at London's Royal Albert Hall in July 2009.
  • Battle Born World Tour (2012–2013): included their largest show to that point, Wembley Stadium on June 22, 2013, at a 90,000 capacity.
  • T-Mobile Arena opening (April 6, 2016): the band headlined opening night of the arena on the Las Vegas Strip.
  • Imploding the Mirage Tour (August 19, 2021, to December 2, 2023): 125 shows mixing clubs, arenas and stadiums, including two nights at London's Emirates Stadium.
  • Rebel Diamonds Tour (June 12 to December 14, 2024): 34 shows, mostly in arenas, across Europe, North America, Japan and Australia.
  • Hot Fuss 20th anniversary residency (August 2024): 15 nights at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, playing the debut album in full.

In 2026 the band played the UEFA Champions League final kickoff show on May 30, and in August 2026 Flowers said a new album is in progress for early 2028. As of October 1, 2026, the band's official tour page listed no upcoming shows. The live event list on this page shows whatever is on sale.

Picking seats for a Killers show

The right seat depends on whether the date is an arena, a stadium or a residency room. Check the seating map on each listing, because floor setups vary by tour.

  • General-admission floor (standing, no assigned spot): the most energetic place in the building, and the closest you can get. Arrive early if you want to be near the stage, and expect to stand and sing for the full set.
  • Lower-level side sections near the stage: the best choice for a guaranteed seat with a clear view of Flowers. Sections angled toward the stage beat those running straight along the side, where the view is mostly in profile.
  • Lower-level end sections facing the stage: a full view of the lighting and production, though farther away. Often the best balance of view and value in an arena.
  • Upper level: fine for the singalong atmosphere, but in a stadium the top tiers are very far from a single end stage. Weigh lower-tier side seats before upper-tier center seats.
  • Avoid: seats marked limited or obstructed view, and side sections behind the stage line, unless the listing explains what you will see.

At a Las Vegas residency in a theater-style room such as the Colosseum, every seat is far closer than in an arena, so center seats on the upper tier can be a smarter buy than extreme side seats down front.

How demand for Killers tickets behaves

The band is a bigger draw in the UK and Ireland than its North American venue sizes might suggest. British and European legs have featured stadiums, while recent North American runs have mostly used arenas, so overseas dates tend to have more supply and US arena dates can tighten quickly.

  • Presales: fan sign-ups through the official site (which uses an RSVP alert for new dates) and card-issuer or venue presales usually come before the general on-sale. The best floor and lower-level inventory moves in that window.
  • Residencies and special shows: anniversary runs and Las Vegas stands draw fans who travel, and weekend nights go first.
  • Resale: general-admission floor and the closest lower-level sections hold their value; upper-level and side seats often loosen as the date approaches.

Every GoodSeats order is backed by a 100% guarantee. Because the band is between album cycles as of fall 2026, new dates may arrive with short notice, so check this page's listings when an announcement lands.
