Upcoming Lights All Night dates
Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.
What Lights All Night is
Lights All Night is an 18-and-over electronic dance music festival held in Dallas over the last two nights of the year, December 30 and 31. The 2026 edition is set for Fair Park, with three stages and a lineup that, in the organizer's words, spans house, techno, trance and bass. It is a nighttime event: gates open at 6 p.m. and the music runs until 3 a.m. both nights, so the second night doubles as a New Year's Eve countdown.
The organizer bills the 2026 edition as the festival's 16th year. Its policies are published under Disco Presents, the promoter whose terms the site links to, and the festival runs the kind of fan programs common in that scene, including an ambassador program that rewards fans who promote the event with merchandise, tickets and early entry.
Fair Park and the indoor setup
Fair Park is a 277-acre exhibition ground immediately east of downtown Dallas. It has hosted the State Fair of Texas since 1886, and many of its Art Deco buildings date to the 1936 Texas Centennial Exposition. For Lights All Night, the organizer says all main stages are fully indoors and climate-controlled, which matters for a festival held in late December; the festival's own safety guide warns that temperatures can change from day to night and suggests an extra layer.
The indoor format changes how you plan the night. You do not need rain gear for the sets themselves, but you do walk outdoors between parking, entry lines and buildings, so a light layer you are willing to check in a locker is the practical choice. The festival rents personal lockers, some with phone charging, at a station inside the grounds.
Who has played Lights All Night
Lights All Night books across the electronic spectrum rather than around a single headliner. The festival's own photo gallery from the 2025 edition credits sets by:
- Headline-scale acts: Porter Robinson, GRiZ, Illenium and RL Grime.
- House and techno: Green Velvet, Mau P, Sara Landry and Hannah Laing.
- Drum and bass and bass music: Netsky, Deathpact and Wooli.
The festival's roots reach back more than a decade: Neon Indian launched the tour for the album Era Extraña with a December 31, 2011 show at Lights All Night in Dallas. For current-year bookings, check the official lineup page, which the festival updates once artists are announced.
Ticket tiers and how demand works
Every standard Lights All Night ticket is a two-night pass covering December 30 and 31. All tiers are restricted to fans 18 and older.
- General Admission (GA): entry both nights. The festival calls it its most popular option.
- GA+: GA plus expedited entry and access to air-conditioned luxury restrooms.
- VIP: expedited entry, VIP-only viewing areas at multiple stages, VIP-only bars, air-conditioned restrooms and a collectible laminate.
- VIP tables: table reservations for groups, booked by inquiry, by night or for both nights.
Pricing structure
Face-value tickets are sold in rising price phases, so the earliest buyers pay least, and the festival offers payment plans. On the resale market, demand tends to climb through December as the holiday approaches and the full lineup is known. GA+ is often the best value upgrade for a winter indoor festival, since faster entry saves standing outdoors in a cold line. VIP pays off mainly if you want a less crowded viewing area at the main stage near midnight on December 31. Every GoodSeats order is backed by a 100% guarantee.
Wristbands
For 2026, orders placed by Wednesday, December 2 qualify for wristband shipping by USPS First-Class Mail within the United States. Later orders are picked up at an early off-site location or at the Fair Park box office, which opens at 5 p.m. both nights.
Getting to Fair Park
Fair Park is at 3809 Grand Avenue, just off Interstate 30 east of downtown. Parking lots and the box office open at 5 p.m. and gates at 6 p.m. each night. The festival says more parking details are released closer to the event, and as of 2026 it prohibits tailgating, overnight parking and sleeping in vehicles in the lots.
- Rail: DART's Green Line serves Fair Park station and MLK Jr. station. Because the festival ends at 3 a.m., check DART's late-night and New Year's Eve schedules before you count on a train home.
- Rideshare and cabs: the festival itself encourages a cab or rideshare over driving. Expect surge demand right at the 3 a.m. close, and consider leaving a few minutes early or waiting out the first wave.
- Flying in: the festival lists Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) as the area airport.
The festival points visitors to a partner hotel search for nearby rooms. New Year's Eve is a high-demand travel night, so book early.
Entry rules and what to bring
The rules below are from the festival's 2026 guide; review the official Lights All Night guide before you go, since policies are updated each year.
- ID: a valid government-issued photo ID is required for entry. A foreign license with a passport photocopy admits you but does not qualify for a 21+ wristband.
- Bags: small single-compartment bags up to 12 by 12 inches and fanny packs up to 10 by 9 inches. No multi-pocket bags or backpacks larger than the limit.
- Water: empty reusable or clear bottles, one sealed single-serve water bottle, and hydration packs with a removable, transparent bladder that arrives empty. Free refill stations are on site.
- Totems: lightweight materials only, under 10 feet tall, with no metal or sharp points.
- Re-entry: none. Leaving the grounds ends your night.
- Security: a TSA-style search at entry and a zero-tolerance drug policy.
Comfortable shoes and a plan to meet friends if phones lose signal will matter more than any accessory. First aid stations sit near every stage.
