Upcoming Camp Bisco dates

Dates and live ticket listings appear here as soon as they are on sale. The guide below covers what to know before you buy.

What Camp Bisco is, and where it stands now

Camp Bisco is a three-day camping festival created by the Disco Biscuits, the Philadelphia band that blends improvisational rock with electronic dance music. The festival puts that same mix on its stages: jam bands, DJs and electronic producers, and a handful of hip-hop acts, with the Disco Biscuits playing multiple sets as hosts. Its most recent home was Montage Mountain, a mountain resort in Scranton, Pennsylvania, where it ran each July from 2015 through 2019.

The key fact for buyers is that Camp Bisco has not been held since July 18 to 20, 2019. The 2020 and 2021 editions were canceled, and the organizers said at the time that the festival would return in 2022, but no edition has taken place since, based on the sources reviewed as of October 2026. Any listing for a future Camp Bisco should be checked against an announcement on the festival's own site before you buy.

From a field party in 1999 to a ski mountain

The Disco Biscuits formed at the University of Pennsylvania in 1995. The first Camp Bisco took place in August 1999 in Cherrytree Township, Pennsylvania, built on the band's idea of pairing electronic DJs with improvisational rock. The festival grew through the 2000s and moved around the Northeast.

  • Upstate New York: in 2013 the festival ran July 11 to 13 at Indian Lookout Country Club near Albany.
  • Scranton: the move to The Pavilion at Montage Mountain and the adjoining Montage Mountain Waterpark came in 2015, and Live Nation was the production partner by 2017. The 2017 edition was promoted as the festival's 15th.
  • 2020 and 2021: canceled because of the pandemic. The band staged City Bisco, a non-camping concert series at the Mann Center in Philadelphia, in place of the 2021 festival, which had been planned for July 8 to 10, and ticket holders received full refunds.

Since then the band has put its festival energy elsewhere. Biscoland, a newer Disco Biscuits event at Wonderland Forest in LaFayette, New York, ran October 6 to 7, 2023, and July 4 to 6, 2024.

Headliners and the Camp Bisco sound

Camp Bisco's bookings tracked the crossover between jam culture and bass-heavy electronic music. Selected lineups:

  • Through the years: Shpongle, Lotus, Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, Gramatik and STS9 joined the lineup as the festival grew.
  • 2017: the Disco Biscuits with Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, GRiZ, Lotus, Gramatik, Action Bronson and Shpongle, among 40-plus acts.
  • 2019: the Disco Biscuits, ODESZA and Bassnectar at the top of a bill of more than 60 artists that also included STS9, Umphrey's McGee, Twiddle and GZA.

Expect long sets, late nights and a crowd that follows the hosts closely. Disco Biscuits fans often plan their weekend around the band's sets, so those time slots draw the biggest crowds at the main stage.

How Camp Bisco passes were sold

When the festival ran at Montage Mountain, its ticketing followed the standard camping-festival model, and a revival would likely look similar:

  • GA (general admission) passes for the full three days, often released first as early-bird tiers that cost less and sell out before the lineup is complete.
  • VIP passes with upgraded viewing areas, restrooms and amenities.
  • Camping passes for tent sites on the mountain, sold separately from admission.
  • Parking and RV passes for vehicles and campers.
  • Glamping and travel packages, with pre-pitched accommodations and bundles sold through a travel partner.

For a festival returning after a long break, demand typically spikes at the first announcement and again when the lineup drops. The safest approach is to wait for a dated announcement on the official site, then compare the pass types available. Every GoodSeats order is backed by a 100% guarantee.

Montage Mountain: getting there and camping

Montage Mountain sits at 1000 Montage Mountain Road in Scranton, in northeastern Pennsylvania. The festival used the outdoor amphitheater (The Pavilion at Montage Mountain), on-site camping and the waterpark, which gave Camp Bisco something few camping festivals have: a place to cool off on a July afternoon.

  • Driving is how most attendees arrive, since the site is a mountain resort outside the city center. Car and RV passes were sold separately from admission.
  • Camping on a mountain site can mean sloped, uneven ground. Arrive early for flatter sites, and bring stakes that hold in rocky soil.
  • Hotels in Scranton and Wilkes-Barre are an option for fans who skip camping, but leaving and returning each day adds traffic time.

If the festival returns, check its official Camp Bisco site for the venue, policies and pass types, since none of them should be assumed from past years.
