Las Vegas Raiders tickets, explained

The Las Vegas Raiders play home games at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, about a mile west of the Las Vegas Strip across Interstate 15. The stadium seats about 65,000 for football and sits under a fixed translucent roof, so every game is played indoors in climate-controlled conditions. The NFL season runs from August preseason games through a September-to-early-January regular season, then playoffs. Because Las Vegas is a destination city, demand for Raiders tickets comes from local fans, Raider Nation traveling from California and beyond, and visiting fans who build a weekend around the game.

The franchise was founded in Oakland in 1960 as a charter member of the American Football League (AFL, the league that merged with the NFL in 1970). It moved to Los Angeles from 1982 to 1994, returned to Oakland from 1995 to 2019, and arrived in Las Vegas in 2020. The Raiders have won three Super Bowls: XI after the 1976 season, XV after the 1980 season and XVIII after the 1983 season, plus the 1967 AFL Championship.

The team plays in the AFC West with the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers, all fellow AFL originals.

Picking seats at Allegiant Stadium

Allegiant Stadium's seating rises in four bands. The 100 level is the lower bowl, with some sections running about 40 rows deep. The 200 level holds suites and loge boxes (small premium seating areas with a few seats and a counter). The 300 and 400 levels form the upper bowl. Field-level clubs sit behind the team benches. Seating guides disagree on exactly which sideline sections belong to the Raiders and which to visitors, so confirm the bench side on the seat map at the time you buy if that matters to you.

  • Lower sideline, rows 15 to 30: the best way to watch the game. You see plays unfold across the field without the bench crowd blocking the near sideline.
  • Front rows behind a bench: close and loud, but you will often watch the game over a line of players and staff.
  • 200-level loge and suites: excellent views and privacy, priced well above the bowl seats around them.
  • Upper sideline (300s and 400s): the value choice. The stadium is compact for its capacity, and sideline seats up high give a full, tactical view.
  • End zones: the north end holds the 85-foot Al Davis Memorial Torch. End-zone seats are good for atmosphere and scoring plays and weakest for judging midfield action.

No sun, no rain

Unlike most AFC West stadiums, Allegiant takes weather out of the decision. There is no sun side or shade side and no cold December seat to avoid. Large windows on one side of the building face the Strip, and the view toward them from the opposite upper sections is part of the experience at night.

How demand works for Raiders home games

A Raiders home schedule usually includes one or two preseason games and eight or nine regular-season games. In Las Vegas, the opponent matters as much as the Raiders' own season, because visiting fans fly in for the trip.

  • Chiefs and Broncos games: the oldest rivalries on the schedule, with large visiting crowds from nearby markets.
  • Chargers games: the shortest drive for Southern California fans of both teams, which keeps demand high.
  • Teams with national fan bases: opponents whose fans travel heavily can push prices above division games.
  • Prime-time and holiday-weekend games: a Sunday, Monday or Thursday night kickoff pairs naturally with a Las Vegas weekend and draws strong demand.
  • Preseason games: the most accessible entry point and a good first look at the stadium.

Big conventions, fights and concerts in town can tighten hotel inventory during a game weekend. Book lodging early, even if you wait on tickets.

Getting to Allegiant Stadium

Many fans walk. As of the 2026 season, the stadium's visitor guide describes a pedestrian route over the Hacienda Avenue bridge that runs under a mile from Las Vegas Boulevard, about a 10- to 15-minute walk from the south end of the Strip. That route is often faster than driving, since post-game traffic around I-15 backs up quickly.

  • Parking: on-site parking is sold in advance through the stadium's parking partner; do not count on buying a spot at the gate.
  • Rideshare: the designated zone is in Lot N, at 5285 Dean Martin Drive.
  • Transit: the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada has run Game Day Express buses from several locations around the valley in past seasons.

Check the Allegiant Stadium first-time guest page before you go, since parking arrangements and transit routes are updated season to season.

Gameday rules and tailgating in Las Vegas

Tailgating happens in designated stadium lots, and sponsored tailgate zones have operated in past seasons. Rules for grills, tents and lot hours vary by lot, so read the pass details when you buy parking.

As of the 2026 season, these rules apply; check the venue's current policy before you go:

  • Bags: a clear-bag policy applies. Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches are allowed, plus a small clutch of about 4.5 by 6.5 inches.
  • Payment: the stadium is cashless.

Every GoodSeats order is backed by a 100% guarantee, a useful safety net when the game is the reason for the whole trip.

Raider Nation history, from Oakland to Las Vegas

Al Davis shaped the franchise for decades, and his slogans "Just Win, Baby" and "Commitment to Excellence" remain part of the team's identity, as do the silver and black colors adopted in 1963. Davis also coined the phrase Raider Nation in 1968 to describe a fan base that stretched well beyond Oakland. In Oakland, the most devoted fans filled the Black Hole, a block of sections at the Coliseum known for costumes and noise.

The Super Bowl XI win over Minnesota, the Super Bowl XV win over Philadelphia and the Super Bowl XVIII rout of Washington, played while the team was based in Los Angeles, mark the franchise's peak years. Allegiant Stadium opened on July 31, 2020, but the Raiders' first season there was played without fans because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The stadium has since hosted Super Bowl LVIII in February 2024 and has been awarded Super Bowl LXIII in 2029, along with the Las Vegas Bowl and UNLV football.
