WWE's flagship show and where it goes next
WrestleMania is WWE's annual flagship event, the show where the year's biggest storylines and championship matches pay off. It is held each spring, between mid-March and mid-April, in a different large stadium most years, and since WrestleMania 36 in 2020 it has been staged over two nights, a Saturday and a Sunday.
WrestleMania 43 is scheduled for April 2027 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the first WrestleMania held outside North America. WWE announced the host city in September 2025; as of the most recent reports, the exact dates and venue had not been confirmed. Nashville's new Nissan Stadium had originally been in line for the 2027 event before the plan changed. For fans in the United States, that means a WrestleMania trip in 2027 is an international journey, and travel planning should start with passports and flights rather than a seat map.
Recent editions show how the event moves:
- WrestleMania 38 (April 2–3, 2022): AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas.
- WrestleMania 39 (April 1–2, 2023): SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California.
- WrestleMania XL (April 6–7, 2024): Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia.
- WrestleMania 41 (April 19–20, 2025): Allegiant Stadium, Paradise, Nevada.
- WrestleMania 42 (April 18–19, 2026): Allegiant Stadium again, after the event moved from its original plan for the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
How WrestleMania tickets go on sale
WrestleMania tickets follow a consistent pattern: two-night combination tickets go on sale first, months ahead, and single-night tickets follow later. For WrestleMania 41, combo tickets went on sale on October 25, 2024, and single-night tickets on January 24, 2025. For WrestleMania 42, combo tickets went on sale September 24, 2025, and single-night tickets November 28, 2025.
That sequence shapes the resale market in a few ways:
- Early on, most inventory is two-night. If you only want one night, you may see few single-night listings until the single-night on-sale date, after which supply widens.
- The two nights can price differently. Demand depends on which matches land on which night, and WWE usually finalizes that card in the final weeks. A night that ends up with the year's top title match tends to draw more demand.
- Floor and lower-level seats near the hard camera carry the most demand; upper-deck end seats are the most attainable.
- Prices move late. Resale prices can sit above or below face value, and they often respond to card announcements and to how much unsold inventory remains in the final weeks.
Every GoodSeats order is backed by a 100% guarantee, which is worth weighing for an event that usually means booking flights and a hotel.
Where to sit for WrestleMania in a stadium
WrestleMania stages convert a football stadium into a wrestling arena, and the layout follows a familiar pattern, though each year's production differs. A large entrance set and video screens stand at one end of the field, a long entrance ramp runs from the stage to the ring, and the ring sits on the field with floor seating around it. The seats behind the stage are typically blocked off or sold as limited-view, because the set fills that end.
The hard-camera side
The hard camera is the main television camera, set opposite one side of the ring. Wrestlers play toward it, so the matches are staged to look their best from that angle. Seats on the hard-camera side, in the lower level near midfield, give the most broadcast-like view. Seats on the opposite side see more of the wrestlers' backs during key moments.
Floor seats
Floor seats near the ring are the closest, but the floor of a stadium is flat. Beyond the first several rows, you are looking past the heads of everyone in front of you, and many floor rows end up watching the video screens. A lower-level seat a dozen rows up off the field often sees more of the action than a deep floor seat.
Along the entrance ramp
Lower-level seats along the side of the ramp put you close to the entrances, which at WrestleMania are elaborate productions with pyrotechnics and staging. Some fans value that as much as the matches.
Upper levels
From the upper deck the ring is small, and you will rely on the video screens. The trade-off is the full view of the stadium crowd and the production, which is a large part of what WrestleMania feels like. Upper-deck seats at the far end, facing the stage, see the entrances head-on.
WrestleMania weekend beyond the two nights
WrestleMania is the center of a weekend of events in the host city, most ticketed separately:
- WWE World is the fan festival, with wrestler panels, meet-and-greets, merchandise and podcast recordings. In 2025 it ran April 17–21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
- The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony inducts new members, usually the night before WrestleMania; in 2025 it was held on April 18 at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
- NXT Stand & Deliver, from WWE's developmental brand, is held the same weekend.
If you are traveling for WrestleMania, a three- or four-day trip lets you fit the fan festival and the Hall of Fame around both nights. Hotels near the stadium fill early once a host city is announced.
What attending WrestleMania is like
Each night is a long show, often several hours, and the crowd is a large part of it: fans travel from around the world, many in costumes, replica belts and team shirts. Entrances are staged with fireworks and elaborate sets, so the first few seconds of a big entrance are when the stadium is loudest.
Practical points for a stadium WrestleMania:
- Arrive early. Stadium security lines for a crowd of 50,000 or more take time, and opening matches start promptly.
- Check the venue's bag policy. Stadium bag rules are often strict, vary by venue and change from year to year, so confirm the host stadium's current policy before you go.
- Plan the trip home. Shows end late at night, and rideshare and transit near a stadium are slow when everyone leaves at once.
- For 2027 in Riyadh, follow WWE's and the host venue's guidance on entry rules and travel requirements, which will differ from a U.S. stadium.
WrestleMania history and records
The first WrestleMania was held on March 31, 1985, at Madison Square Garden in New York, headlined by Hulk Hogan and Mr. T against Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff. The event grew from an arena show into a stadium spectacle and became the centerpiece of WWE's calendar.
The attendance record belongs to WrestleMania 32 in 2016 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, announced at 101,763. The two-night format introduced in 2020 doubled the number of tickets for each edition; WrestleMania 41 in 2025 drew 58,538 and 60,103 on its two nights, and WrestleMania 42 in 2026 drew 47,093 and 50,033. WrestleMania 41 was also the first held on Easter weekend. For the latest card and host information, check WWE's official site.
